Faith Formation began at St. James the Less in 1967 with the establishment of the parish. It used to be called C.C.D. (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine).

The classes met in various homes at that time. In 1972, the classes began to meet in different Highland schools; Merkley, Warren, and finally ending up at Highland Junior High, where the program remained for many years. In 1999, with the completion of the Formation Center, Religious Education finally came to rest here at the church.

Now we are called Faith Formation, and many of the children of the past are bringing their children to classes here. We are proud of our history and look forward to a wonderful future for St. James the Less Faith Formation.
